Pretty Little Drunk is a three part web series produced by OnWeb Television for NATHA (Neighbors Acting Together to Help All), a community based non-profit organization. The Public Health Action Team coalition (PHAT) is comprised of youth, community residents, civic leaders, law enforcement, and churches which are working to reduce underage drinking and drug use amongst youth in Pasadena.
The web-series was created to utilize new media in hope of helping teens understand the negative side effects of under-age drinking.
A true grassroots agency, NATHA combines programs for children; nutrition, exercise and health activities and information for families; personal growth training; and opportunities for community action into a cross-generational volunteer response to the community’s needs. It serves an area of about 1,900 homes.
Working with public and private agencies, NATHA brings people together to improve community life for all residents by crafting low-cost, high consensus responses to address residents’ most critical issues: educational outcomes and personal growth
opportunities for children; public health and safety; individual health; cultural and language barriers among neighbors; and other quality-of-life issues. NATHA’s volunteers donate many thousands of hours annually to address these issues.
OnWeb Television was launched in January 2005 to provide an opporutnity for nonprofit organizations, small businesses and local governments to utilize the emerging new media market.
Since then, OnWeb Television has worked with these organizations to develop "out of the box" ideas to promote their businesses, programs and services utilizing the every growing new and social media platforms.
OnWeb has produced more than a dozen web series for local, regional and national organizations.
